Australian actress Radha Mitchell
Radha Rani Amber Indigo Anunda Mitchell, born on November 12, 1973, is an Australian actress. Mitchell was born in Melbourne, Australia and had a "hippie-style" upbringing by her parents, who divorced during her childhood. Her mother is a model turned designer and her father is a filmmaker. She attended the St. Michael's Grammar School. Her first name, “Radha”, is of Indian Hindu origin, where the name is described to mean the childhood lover of Lord Krishna. The other parts of her name coming from an Indian origin are “Rani” meaning Queen and “Anunda” meaning joy. Mitchell is a vegetarian and practices Yoga.

Madonna, who adopted Malawian boy, David Banda, has become emotionally attached to the African nation and will also be funding orphanages in Malawi. The Material girl is also planning to build a 40-million-dollar school to help provide education to Malawian girls, reports Contactmusic. According to Britain’s Hello! magazine, a government official has revealed that the 4-minutes hit maker will be honored for her loyalty to the country, and the government is planning to grant her the same rights as their citizens.
Madonna’s documentary, I Am Because We Are on the plight of Malawian people was recently screened at Cannes Film Festival in France.

The 43-year-old revealed that her family has a history of alcoholism and she gave up drinking after spending some time in the rehab when she was 22. Kristin said, “I really didn’t think I would pass 30. I drank a lot when I was a teenager. I had a fatalistic viewpoint.” The actress keeps homes in both Los Angeles and New York. The supermodel-turned-talk show host has revealed that she was snubbed most of the times than other wannabes, because she did not fit in with the modeling industry’s standard perception of beauty.
“My biggest obstacle was that I was black and curvy”, Usmagazine-com quoted her, as saying. She even claimed that a number of designers blacklisted her because of her “hips and breasts”. The 34-year-old revealed that modeling bosses tried to convince her mother to put her on a diet, but she refused. “My mother told me the whole thing as we were walking down the street in Milan,” Banks said. “My mother said, ‘they say you are too curvy. Let us go order pizza.’ We walked into a pizzeria, and we discussed a career change”, Tyra Banks added.
