Vikram-man mind of 5 years old child ?
Deiva Thirumagan is a forthcoming Tamil drama film written and directed by AL Vijay. The film stars Vikram, Anushka Shetty and Amala Paul in lead roles. According to reports, Vikram plays the role of Krishnan, a man with the mind of a five-year-old child. Karthik Kumar has a guest appearance in the film.
The award winning lead actor Vikram was last seen in both the good and bad avatars in Mani Ratnam's Raavan. Anushka Shetty rose to stardom in Tamil with her 2010 mega blockbuster Singam co-starring Tamil Superstar Suriya. Amala Paul's claim to fame was her role in the film, Sindhu Samaveli, a story about a gilr having an illicit relationship with her father-in-law.
Titles considered for the film included Deiva Magan and Pitha.
But due to copyrights with other filmmakers, they were unavailable. The film is currently in its post-production stage and is expected to release on May 14, 2011. Deiva Thirumagan is produced by Mohan Natrajan. The music director of the film has been given by AR Rahman's nephew GV Prakash Kumar. The audio of the film is slated for an April 14 release.
