I LOVE hearing engagement stories!! Good to know American Idol's newest judge likes to share personal details about her life. Kara DioGuardi told People Magazine that her fiance Mike McCuddy popped the question during a Mexican retreat, surrounded by candles... while she wore thermal smiley-face pajamas. How romantic!!:)
"I was in, of course, my thermal smiley-face pajamas that one of my best friends gave me for Christmas."
. DioGuardi says her fiancé Mike McCuddy, 34, lit some candles before popping the first of two questions.
"He said, 'I have a question: Do you know where my shoes are?'" she told reporters at FOX's Television Critics Association after-party on Tuesday. When she said she didn't know, McCuddy responded, "All right, well then will you marry me?"
I like that intro. Really throws you off!!
I have a confession. I keep saying I don't want to watch American Idol, and then there is nothing on television and I end up tuning in. This always happens during the auditions. It's like a car crash... you don't want to look.
Has anyone else found a favorite yet? The man who lost his wife had SUCH a great voice. Tragic story though. I am rooting for him to win!
