Maybe we went to a really boring school, but we don’t ever remember seeing our teachers wearing rubber leggings and six-inch stilettos (but lord only knows what went on in the staff room at lunchtime). However, Victoria Beckham reckons she dresses like a quintessentially British school ma’am. Right. When asked in a new interview if her look has been influenced by Hollywood glamour since living in Los Angeles, she said “It hasn't, not at all. I am very British in my style. Think school teacher. I love pencil skirts and fitted blouses, classic cut dresses and well-fitted jeans mixed with classic tailoring.” OK, so Posh does dress like that sometimes, so we suppose we’ll let her off. She also says she’s influenced by retro fashion. “The 1950s icons had such class,” she says. “I love the glamour and sophisticated style of Jackie O and Audrey Hepburn.” How do you think Posh looks best – skintight and vampy or tailored and classic?
